Eligibility
The Foundation favors support of programs rather than general operating costs, facilities, buildings, or individuals. The Foundation does not support multi-year funding requests nor do we consider grants for organizations that fall under the following categories:
Organizations are eligible for grants if:
**Involvement by the Foundation includes site visits as well as program evaluations.
The Pacific Youth Foundation only approves 1 yr. grant requests. The average grant from the Foundation is $40,000.
With respect for our grant process and stream lining our operations we request that only Executive Directors/CPOs contact the Foundation. We would also like to request that after a successful grant application organizations wait one year before applying for another grant. Our next deadline for grant requests is January 15, 2012.
- Boys & Girls' Clubs outside the Pacific Region or the National Level.
- Programs that do not directly involve youth, staff or board members of a Boys & Girls' Club.
- Boys & Girls' Clubs that offer fee based programming (any club that charges more than a nominal membership fee).
- Boys & Girls' Clubs that receive more than 50% of their funding from government support.
Organizations are eligible for grants if:
- Their proposal supports the development of youth, staff, or board leadership at a Boys & Girls' Club in the Pacific Region, or at the National Level.
- They have tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and are not a private foundation under section 509(a) of the Code.
